There are detailed guidelines and procedures for the manual system of the payroll developed over the years. The accurate calculations with reference to the prescribed parameters take a lot of time of those who are responsible to implement the system manually. There are always possible human errors. Further, the meticulous calculations for every single entry and individual make it quite a monotonous and tedious task in a manual system. Such manual systems lack customer satisfaction, efficiency and accuracy. Computerization of the manual system is the solution to overcome those problems. This report presents an automated government payroll management system. One of the most important features of this system is that it can be functioned on widely used Windows multi user platform. The proposed system is developed by considering factors such as customer satisfaction, quick response, efficiency and reliability.
