The study attempts to investigate their ability in using bibliography database, their knowledge about the bibliography, the reasons that affect or reduce their effectiveness in using bibliography database. The Online Bibliographic database changed the traditional card catalogue system. Bibliography database are mostly available in university libraries. The Bibliography database of the University Library, it contains not only bibliographic data of books and Journals, and it is a feature that these data can be searched together Simple search, Advance search, Number search, and Quick search are some most popular search types which are included in the system. The most frequently conducted search is the simple search. The results showed that the majority of the respondents found that usage of bibliography database is easy. An attempt is made to develop a software package that provides solution for bibliography database the covering all the major functions of the library, which reduces huge amount of work done manually. The system modeling was done using Data flow Diagram (DFD) and Entity Relational (ER) diagram and the software was developed using PHP, Java Script. The dependent database is MySQL, which is open source free license software. The Web Interface has been tested on three different Internet Browser namely on Internet Explorer, Safari and chrome so as to ensure browser compatibility of the interface. The interface has been presented to users for testing and their feedback the PHP scripts also have tested and known errors has been rectified. Web user guide has also been developed to help the users in using the interface.
