| dc.description.abstract | An attempt is made to develop a software package that provides solution for the hospital management covering all the major functions of the hospital, which reduces huge amount of work done manually. This software is developed using PHP, Java Script and Unified Modeling Language (UML). The dependent database is MySQL, which is open source free license software. The users can access the server software through Web Browser and therefore the solution “can be termed as web-accessible. The server is maintained with Linux operating system and all clients are maintained with windows platform. This software is a multi-user system operating on local area network (LAN) spread across . the hospital. It Supports data to be shared among several users with multi access facility and information can be retrieved and modified on demand. This enables community to work with real time systems avoiding time consuming batch oriented processing technology. | |
