Management information system for agricultural product export company

Abstract

Due to the advancement of the computer technology most of the commercial organizations were attempt to use Management Information Systems (MIS). Usually a MIS system consists of three primary resources: technology, information and people. MIS system will generally responsible in providing information which is needed to handle a particular organization effectively. In order achieve this goal system -must be designed by identifying the organization domain. Here I consider on design and developing a MIS for Agricultural Product Exporting Company which primarily export products made of Tea, Spice , Coconut, Herbs& Rice. Currently they are following a manual documentation procedure and therefore analyzing data for managerial decision making is quite bit difficult. Therefore my developed system is in capable of reduce their effort on manual documentation while support the managerial decision making process and also supporting the company account division for financial functionalities. More over the system embedded with various functionalities and reports that will support the employees.
