Most of the students who faced to G. C.E. Advance level (A/L) in our country were unable to show good performance during last decade. Also both government and private teaching and learning processes were unable to overcome these difficulties. Therefore Chemistry is the most difficult subject and not the applicable subject for the students. Most of day today life applications are directly or indirectly connected to chemistry. In fact the education system has not clearly been marked out real situations and real world applications. Therefore the students are very far from the reality. Also the concepts of chemistry and the strategies of problem solving have not been introduced. Most of teachers used to teach chemistry with conventional methods. Also their evaluation methods have been limited to paper pencil methods. Due to lack of practical knowledge and day today applications may be reasons to keep students far from chemistry. Also new remedies to study and understand the reality are hoped to introduce. Therefore new teaching and learning strategies should be introduced to minimize the difficulties of teaching and learning process. Then future generation will study chemistry and other subjects most interestedly. Therefore the objectives of this research are to introduce new teaching and learning methods to make chemistry popular among students and to take them good results.
