| dc.description.abstract | The development of Science and Technology has given grater opportunities to introduce modern technologies in education. In teaching environment, integrating the technology such as multimedia and Internet will enhance the teachers’ effectiveness in the classroom. The multimedia technology gives information in the form of video sequences, animations, sounds, pictures, voice-over (narration) and texts. These multimedia inputs will stimulate students learning process by giving opportunities to visualize the process of concepts. In this project an instructional design incorporating the Computer Base Training (CBT) system has been employed to develop the effective CD based interactive material on "Physical Electronics" considering the pedagogical principles. It is hoped that the CBT interactive tool, incorporating multimedia will create student active participation in the learning process and increase the conceptual understanding of the subject. | |
