Abstract
The introduction of Information Technology to the world had begun decades ago, but the expansion of it started in Sri Lanka some decades later then that and it was in the later part of 1960. But IT was mainly used in the frame of mathematical requirement. In early 1980's the DMS and the Metropolitan introduced the computer technology in Sinhala. Thereafter the Wijaya Graphics has introduced Sinhala letters for the Macintosh computers. There has been a fast development in usage of Sinhala letters in computers since then. Then so we see an encouraging development in type setting industry. Here the printing industry too developed together with it. Also we found there were many errors in documentary, and couldn't overcome such defects. Many organizations tried to find alternations with different packages for them but with less success. It can be clearly understood by paying attention at the news papers, magazines, television and other presentations.
The other problem is these packages are produced in their own characteristics to preserve the ownership. In other words these packages function with patent and which a huge barrier is for flow of documentary, because to read such documents, it is necessary to have the same package in the relative computer too. Here my innovation is to introduce a suitable driver program to support SLS1134 revision 2, 2004 keyboard, and driver independent documentary and to overcome the confused situations relating to pili in documentation.
