Human pain and kindness: a tract on Buddhist Psychology

Abstract

According to conceptual categories in current analytical philosophy, the concept of perception is entwined with such other empirical ones as sensation, belief, noticing, truth and knowledge. Nevertheless, in Buddhism, the technique appears to be to move from psychological concepts to ethical values envisioning a qualitative difference in comparison with ethical reasoning in analytical philosophy comprising an analysis of the nature of value words, value terms and value statements. This poster highlights this point.
