| dc.description.abstract | Sri Lankan education system is at a state of transformation. New educational reforms have been proposed. . Teachers play an important role in implementing these issues. Hence the filling of vacancant positions and recruiting new teachers in schools is inevitable. In certain schools there are excessive number of teachers and at the same time there are inadequate numbers in other schools. Therefore filling of the vacant positions and replacing the excess number in a proper and fair manner is necessary. This study proposes an efficient transfer scheme for school teachers. An algorithm is presented which assigns teachers to vacant positions in schools based on prefetences of teachers and a marking scheme. | |
