| dc.description.abstract | The various science courses offered at Post Graduate Institute of Science tend to recruit large number of students in every year. To apply the places for each course applicant must meet Entrance Examination. Applicant as well as staff has being facing lot of difficulties with the manual test system. To increase the attraction and accuracy and efficiency of the entrance examination, we have proposed a web based online aptitude test system. Development of this system includes construction of the examination, random selection of questions from the question bank, real time controlling system, automated paper marking and high level of security. Main purpose of this documentation is to discuss key features of the new testing environment, designing the system, technological view of the system and benefits of the systems. This document also address some issues relating to the factors may influence the system performance. Mean while comparison with regards to other implemented test systems to point out benefits of our system in users’ point of view. The largest advantage of our test system is to provide applicants flexible examination session schedule any time and any where. | |
