Use of computers in remedial teaching

Abstract

The main reasons for the inability in teaching and understanding the concepts of

atomic structure [G.C.E. A.L Chemistry syllabus unit 2] are as follows,

I The difficulty in understanding the abstract concepts.

II Lack of appropriate experimental demonstrations.

Therefore many students tend to perceive the concepts of atomic structure incorrectly. This is

an attempt to identify their difficulties and find remedial measures to help them

understand such concepts through the use of computers.
