School information management system

Abstract

This project aims to design and implement a system called School Information Management System, for Saivapragasa Ladies College Vavuniya. The main reason to develop such a system, is to overcome the limitation exist in the present manual system.

An information system is developed to handle three major categories of information; student information, staff information and library information.

For each component has a GUI with its own operations that interact with the database to perform necessary information processing tasks.

The system is tested and the test results indicate that the system functions effectively and consistently.
