| dc.description.abstract | This study attempts to identify the quality improvement and innovation in undergraduate education of the Faculty of Arts as a means offmding some solution for the problem of unemployment among Arts Graduates. A pilot survey was conducted with a sample of fifty final year undergraduates of the faculty of Arts, University ofPeradeniya in view of identifying the deficiencies in the present curriculum, teaching methodology and evaluation. Suggestions for improving the quality of education imparted by the Faculty of Arts will be framed after consulting the senior lectures of the Faculty of Arts and the managers of Government and private sector organization which will provide job opportunities to Arts Graduates. | |
